Song 14: The Hands that Built America

The song The Hands That Built America describes how America wasn't built by just Americans, but by people of all nationalities. The song is more like a story of how many different people came together to become the hands that built America. The song also describes how 9/11 affected America, and how it was a blow against all Americans. This song is probably my favorite on the CD, because, as I said before, it describes how America was built by many people combining their skills and how the different groups merged into one whole. The song teaches us that, throughout history, people have put aside their differences for the good of their nation, and America is no different in that regard.
